For your consideration is a 2001 USA Gibson Blackbird Nikki Sixx Signature bass guitar. This one is far from mint, but it is in remarkable condition, plays well and is meant to be played.
The headstock is in great shape, has a few nicks and dings, but nothing detrimental. Mr. Yuk sticker adds timeless flair to the headstock. Frets and fretboard are in great shape...frets do have some slight signs of wear, but have TONS of life left. The body has a few nicks and dings, but nothing detrimental. Some of the matte black finish has become shiny from being played over the last 20 years. A few other areas have worn through the finish and to the wood. All honest play wear!
The strap button was removed from the shoulder of the body, and moved once to the backside of the body, as pictured.
Low action, plays smoothly and sounds like it should! The neck is thinner and absolutely rips!
Comes with original Gibson Blackbird hardshell case, as pictured. The case has a few nicks and dings, but protects faithfully.
This one is a player, and deserves to be played. It's not a museum piece, but it certainly is the real deal!
