For your consideration is a vintage 1970's McPherson J40 acoustic tri-hole guitar. Crafted in Japan, the guitar is looking pretty good, with some signs of use.

There is a cloudiness along the neck joint, along with a cosmetic/surface finish crack that suggests the neck may have been reset, albeit a long time ago. Neck is solid and structurally sound.

Headstock, frets, fretboard and body are all in decent shape, with signs of use congruent with the age of the guitar.

The bridge is cracked as pictured, and the neck has a superficial crack alongside the fretboard on one side. Again, both of these are stable, but noticeable and worth mentioning.

The guitar has a noticeable aura of "patina" from over the decades...impossible to mimic!

Plays well, does have higher action as you go up the neck, but that is common with older acoustics.

Plenty of life left in this one!

Has a very rich, harmonically dense voice.

Comes with non-original chipboard case.
